Trees are Getting Overgrown around our Theater

We take great pride in the appearance of our movie theater and we want it to look nice so our customers find it appealing and welcoming. We are happy to see that we have so many great new movies coming out such as Creed 3, Cocaine Bear, Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania, Magic Mike’s Last Dance, 65, Scream VI, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Super Mario Bros., and our personal favorite John Wick 4! We have been very pleased with the recent upgrades to our cinema, larger screens, bigger and more comfortable seats, and the larger theaters.  Lately, we have noticed many of the trees becoming overgrown and many tree debris laying around our grounds. Additionally. the trees were growing so large and spreading their branches, they were beginning to block the view of our theater from the road and blocking the signs. We also viewed them becoming  a safety threat, especially in bad weather. We are afraid that a branch may break and fall on a customer or car, injuring or damaging them. Tree cutting would lower the chances of such incidents while also making the movie theater visible and inviting to customers. I was reading some do it yourself blogs online about tree trimming and I wanted to try and trim and prune the trees myself. I learned that I would need to buy some special saws and some very tall ladders in order to get the job done. I also learned that it could be a very dangerous job and that it was highly recommended that trimming was only to be done by trained professional arborists that are employed by a reputable tree service. Additionally, I didn’t want to spend around a thousand dollars on tools that I am only going to be using once or twice. So i logged onto google and started looking for a tree company near me. There were so many different companies out there that offered many different services. I saw tree trimming, tree pruning, tree removal, stump grinding and removal, and even emergency tree services. I knew it was important for me to find a tree service contractor that was licensed and insured.

I do not want a tree or tree debris to fall on our movie theater and cause damage and have to shut us down or even worse hurt one of our loyal customers. Our theater’s management team contacted a tree trimming company to handle the task and they arrived in a large boom truck! The first thing they did was explain to me what steps a tree trimming job at a movie theater would take place.

The first step was to assess the trees on the property and find out the branches that need to be trimmed. The professionals determined the branches’ health and strength and decided which ones need to be removed or pruned. Once they finished the initial assessment and quoted me for the job, the actual trimming process began. The workers used special tools such as chainsaws, pruning shears, and ladders to reach the tree branches. The tree trimming team reassured me that they took all appropriate safety measures, such as wearing hard hats and using safety ropes and harnesses.

During the trimming process, the team cut back the branches that blocked the view of our theater’s signages, marquee, and posters. They also removed dead and diseased branches that were causing  safety risks. The team also thinned out the crown of the trees, which allows more light to pass through and creates a brighter and more welcoming environment. After the trimming was complete, the team removed all the debris, including branches, leaves, and twigs. They disposed of them in an environmentally friendly manner by recycling and composting them. Finally, they cleaned up the area and made sure that the theater’s property looked neat and tidy.

Tree trimming at our movie theater was essential to ensure the safety of customers and enhance the theater’s aesthetic appeal. It involved assessing the trees on the property, identifying the branches that needed to be trimmed, and using specialized tools to complete the trimming process. Once the trimming was finished, the team disposed of the debris and cleaned up the area making sure that the moviegoers have a safe and enjoyable experience. By keeping the trees on our property well-maintained, our theater’s management can create an inviting and attractive atmosphere that encourages customers to return for future movie screenings.
